Position Overview

The E-Commerce Operations Specialist will be responsible for providing day-to-day administration of duties regarding multiple websites. This position will work both independently and cross-functionally to ensure web product content, imagery, pricing and support content is kept current and properly maintained.  To support these objectives, you will work closely with internal and external resources, including Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service and third parties.

Essential Functions, Duties & Accountabilities

 

Key Responsibilities

  •          Own process for managing new product updates and launches on the existing websites.
  •          Load and support product launches on the web including content, imagery, pricing, etc.
  •          Support online related promotional campaign activities designed to increase sales.
  •          Perform testing, Q/A as needed to validate changes on websites.
  •          Work closely with customer service call center to assist with any issues that arise form customers.
  •          Work cross-functional with people across the organization and at all levels.
  •          Interact with Management where required to address inquiries regarding Web Store activities (e.g. product promotions, sales performance, etc.)
  •          Execute any request that the ecommerce team may need that pertain to login's, data loading and troubleshooting of Magento or Responsys.

Overall Business Duties

  • Assist to ensure achievement of monthly and annual category goals and P&L, instituting corrective actions and exploring new opportunities to ensure performance at or above budget levels.

  • Ensure the development and execution of appropriate tracking, reporting and analysis at the category level to enable effective and timely decision making and actions.

  • Identify and explore opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Serve as a member of the Marketing team.

  • Maintain flexibility in work schedule to meet business needs.

  • Actively and positively contribute to the overall success of multiple websites through regular contributions to the general management of the company. Support the company and other departments wherever and whenever your skills and experience would be beneficial.

  • Uphold and promote AMS's I-CARE values system of integrity, communication, accountability, respect and energy in all relationships with customers, suppliers, fellow employees and other stakeholders.

  • Ensure the confidentiality and full and complete safeguarding the company's trade secrets and any of our business clients' customer lists and related records.

Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required

 

Experience and Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in hand-coding HTML, CSS. Ability to read and edit code.

  • Experience with HTML/CSS and image mapping.

  • Must have working knowledge of Adobe CS6 and/or Adobe CC software and Microsoft Office suite.

  • Organization and Detail oriented is a benefit.

  • Experience with sFTP and computer network use and server directory structures.

  • Familiar with current and best practices of web design, including cross-browser compatibility and web content accessibility.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

  • Educational background in web design, and/or web programming and strong understanding of various web technologies.

     

Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with Oracle/Responsys (ESP) and Magento (Web Platform) is a plus!

  • Experience with Google analytics or similar web analytics tools.

  • Advanced PC skills Excel, Word and Outlook as well as experience with sales reporting and inventory systems.

        Travel

  • Ability to travel domestically when required, approximately 0-2%.
