Position Overview

The IT Support Analyst will provide front-line primary technical support to end users on various technical issues and problems relating to software, hardware, and peripherals. They will also be responsible for responding to, documenting and resolving service tickets in a timely manner according to SLA. The IT Support Analyst must have excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose, evaluate and resolve complex problem situations, or when appropriate, escalate or route them to appropriate IT staff members.


The Support Analyst will also perform root cause analysis and solve or escalate typical to severe problems. This person will also recommend procedures and controls for problem prevention. This position will support multiple platforms including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. This position will require independent work, sharing information and assisting others.

Essential Functions, Duties & Accountabilities

  • Handle software and hardware-related requests.
  • Troubleshoot and identify root causes of software and hardware problems
  • Resolve/fix software and hardware problems
  • Document activities thoroughly, accurately and in a timely manner.

 Initial point of IT Support

  • Receive support tickets via phone calls/email/JIRA
  • Own, maintain and document support issues in Jira
  • Troubleshoot to resolution or escalate issues as necessary
  • Adds, moves and changes

Application Support

  • Microsoft Office 2010, 2013, 2016, Office 365
  • Core Business applications
    • Ecometry (ERP)
    • Maximizer (CRM)
    • Internal web applications

Hardware Support

  • Wyse/Dell Terminals
  • Windows laptops and desktops
  • Apple devices including MacBook's, iPads and iPhones

Additional Functions, Duties & Accountabilities

  1. Maintain flexibility in work schedule to meet business needs.
  2. Actively and positively contribute to the overall success of and MCM through regular contributions to the general management of the company. Participate and provide value in inter-departmental meetings, projects and informal activities. Support the company and other departments wherever and whenever your skills and experience would be beneficial.


Educational Requirements

  1. 2+-year college degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.

 Experience and Skills

  1. Two to five years of hands-on experience working in an end-user desktop support role or computer operations environment required.
  2. Microsoft Office 2007 to 2016 Office 365
  3. Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10
  4. SQL Experience (look up syntax details & Query language)
  5. Apple Macintosh
  6. Remote Desktop support
  7. Active Directory and Exchange
  8. Remote support for handheld smartphones and tablets

Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  1. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  2. Positive customer service skills
  3. Excellent troubleshooting skills
  4. Some independent judgement required in setting priorities of tasks among multiple assigned projects.
  5. Commitment to team-orientated disciplines.
  6. Able and willing to learn new systems, procedures and technologies
