Position Overview

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will support the E-Commerce Team by contributing to the execution of daily department tasks, on-going projects and new initiatives. This exciting entry-level position plays a key role in growing business by improving the online customer experience, coordinating social media efforts across multiple brands and assisting with assorted digital marketing activities.


The Digital Marketing Coordinator will work directly with the Digital Marketing Manager and additional members of the AMS Marketing Department to help strategize marketing efforts and execute marketing endeavors.


Though not necessary, the ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience within a marketing department and will be familiar with general digital and social media marketing best practices. Most importantly, this position requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to work on several projects at once and will be suitable for someone who has a passion for collaborating with a team of marketing professionals.

Essential Functions, Duties & Accountabilities

1)         Maintaining the online product assortment & content marketing throughout both brands websites.

2)         Merchandising the key onsite ad areas and product listings to maximize revenue growth.

3)         Implementing the social media strategy - which includes creating, publishing & monitoring social content on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram.

4)         Support other digital marketing efforts such as email, paid search, SEO, & social advertising when necessary.

5)         Work alongside marketing teammates to complete day-today activities that lead to overall success of department goals.  

6)         Provide tactical recommendations to improve processes and collaboration through departments.

7)         Pull and analyze digital marketing metrics and identify actionable items

Additional Functions, Duties & Accountabilities

  1. Serve as a member of the Marketing Team and support others as necessary.
  2. Maintain flexibility in work schedule to meet business needs.
  3. Actively and positively contribute to the overall success of and through regular contributions to the general management of the company. Participate and provide leadership in inter-departmental meetings, projects and informal activities. Support the company and other departments wherever and whenever your skills and experience would be beneficial.
  4. Uphold and promote AMS's I-CARE values system of integrity, communication, accountability, respect and energy in all relationships with customers, suppliers, fellow employees and other stakeholders.
  5. Ensure the confidentiality and full and complete safeguarding the company's trade secrets and any of our business clients' customer lists and related records.


Educational Requirements

  • Four year degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or other related area of study.

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in social media planning, creation, publishing and monitoring
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience within a marketing department or related department whether it be through an internship or previous employment
  • Superb organizer with high attention to detail to successfully handle multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a broad team, developing strong relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word


PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE (Helpful but not required)

  • Basic understanding of HTML, performing edits, tags and links
  • Proficiency in photoshop or related program
  • Experience using e-commerce platforms like Magento, Xcart or similar programs
  • Experience using online collaboration tools like,, slack or other task management software
