Position Overview

As the Digital Advertising Specialist for two major e-commerce brands, you must understand the ins and outs of operating digital campaigns as a way to guide new customers to convert. As the Digital Advertising Specialist, you'll assist with the hands-on management of all paid media campaigns throughout their full lifecycle including marketing launch, creative messaging strategy, performance optimizations, and post campaign analysis. Paid Media channels include but are not limited to Paid Search, Retargeting, and Paid Social.

Essential Functions, Duties & Accountabilities

Campaign Management

  1. Create and implement effective desktop and mobile campaigns across a number of paid media platforms, including Google AdWords, Google Display Network, Bings Ads Manager, Facebook Ad Manager and other platforms.
  1. Identify opportunities to test and optimize campaigns, including audience targeting, keyword research and selection, ad group structuring, ad copy writing and landing page testing.
  2. Execute on new ideas to launch new customer prospecting campaigns
  3. Assist in managing campaign budgets & provide guidance for adjusting bids to optimize ROI
  1. Work with the entire Digital Marketing and Product Development Teams to launch online campaigns to support major programs
  2. Organize and coordinate efforts internally and externally with digital marketing vendors and consultants
  1. Track daily, weekly & monthly KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement. Conduct reporting on a daily, weekly, and month basis and communicate back to team on performance
  2. Gather competitive intelligence, including research on competitor keywords, ad copy and landing pages

Experience and Skills

  1. 1-2 years of experience with Google AdWords, analytics, Facebook Ads, Bing and/or other paid digital advertising products.
  2. Demonstrated track record of running paid search accounts, paid social accounts, and retargeting efforts
  3. Strong understanding of business metrics, digital KPIs and how to turn data into action
  1. Strong organizational skills; phenomenal attention to detail, operates with urgency and discipline
  1. Team-first mentality and contributes positively to culture and environment
  2. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  3. Able to work independently as well as cross-functionally in a team-oriented environment

 

Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  1. Prefer to see certifications in Google Analytics, PPC, and other related digital marketing tools
  2. Strong understanding and use of Microsoft Excel
  3. Data analysis and visualization experience is a plus

  2. Maintain flexibility in work schedule to meet business needs.
  3. Actively and positively contribute to the overall success of GovMint.com through regular contributions to the general management of the company. Participate and provide leadership in inter-departmental meetings, projects and informal activities. Support the company and other departments wherever and whenever your skills and experience would be beneficial.
